Michelle is a registered teacher with the British Theatre Dance Association. She started her dancing at the age of 3 at the Jean Champ School of Dance in Worcestershire, UK. At the age of 18 she travelled to America where she studied at the Dorothe Stage School, Newtown, Massachusetts under the watchful eye of Sabrina Anderson-Vaz who later went on to choregraph for the New York City Ballet.
Michelle returned to England to continue with her academic studies obtaining a BA (Hons). As part of her studies she took part in a student exchange to Buffalo State College, USA where her courses included choreography and ballroom dance. She also studied at North Cheshire Theatre School during this time.

She has also performed with Birmingham Royal Ballet, Great Barr Musical Theatre Company & St. Augustine’s Musical Theatre Company.
Her students have successfully competed at dance festivals in the UK and won awards for Best Cabaret Troupe at Junior and Inter levels, Best Cabaret Trio at Baby and Inter levels, Best costume in a festival and Most Promising Competitor at Junior level.
Michelle emigrated to New Zealand with her family in 2006. |
